About me
Taking the first step toward feeling better is just a click away! Schedule your appointment with me today, and let’s start this journey together.
I earned my Master's Degree from Phillips Graduate Institute in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy while specializing in Dual Diagnosis.
I began my career as a therapist at The California Family Counseling Center working largely with dually diagnosed clients and their loved ones. During my graduate program I designed an art therapy group for recovering women alcoholics who are survivors of sexually abuse.
After graduation I spent more than 2 years living in Costa Rica improving my Spanish and learning cultural diversity first hand. I spent the two years working as a bilingual art therapist with families in the East Los Angeles area. I then became the training manager for the Southern California region at that same company.
As an Art Therapist I have the advantage of including art as a tool to communicate with clients. This is particularly useful when working with clients who have difficulty talking about or even knowing what is challenging them.
Currently I have a private practice in Encino, CA.
